Mission Statement
The purpose of the Orange County Retired Educators Association shall be to serve objectives exclusively charitable, educational and scientific.
Membership in OCREA
- Helps retired educators maintain an identity with the education profession and furthers the cause of education.
- Assists in pre-retirement seminars and workshops.
- Trains local leadership and promotes group involvement of retired educators in community affairs.
- Promotes the local programs of the Florida Retired Educators Association and the National Retired Teachers Association, a division of AARP.
- Fosters good fellowship among retired educators.
- Promotes, selects and funds teacher scholarships.
